Secrets of Rudgwick,West Sussex |
The Chapman Family have been involved
in the sea fish industry in Grimsby for over fifty
years. From the knowledge acquired during this time they
used to source the best fish for their award winning
fishcakes.
It all started with Grimsby housewives Mavis Chapman who
devised her own recipe for fishcakes using the fish that
husband Terry brought home. Now their son Kevin has
taken this recipe to produce a traditional fishcake and
using his mum’s principal of incorporating only the
finest ingredients, he manufactures a range of
fishcakes.

Traditional Fish and Parsley |

|
This is the fish cake that started
it all off.
The cake that Kevin’s mum Mavis used to make. At
that time every Grimsby housewife had her own recipe
for fish cakes and Mavis Chapman’s cake had a secret
“little twist” which gives the cake that extra
something special and a delicious lingering
aftertaste
This fishcake was awarded the Gold Prize in the Great Taste Awards 2008!

Haddock and Leek |

Our fishcakes have become synonymous with great flavours, and here is another one to set the taste buds tingling.
Haddock and Leek make a great combination in themselves but add the cheese, fresh chives, Dijon and just the right amount of seasoning and you have a feast of a fish cake. |
