The best description I could give you of our
Seriously Good Yorkshire Parkin is "A ginger
cake predominantly baked using oatmeal and a
perfect blend of syrup & black treacle"
Yorkshire Parkin varies across the region
depending usually on the family recipes used but
we believe we make the best Parkin in Yorkshire.
Our recipe is over 100 years old.
There are no artificial ingredients in our
Yorkshire Parkin. The syrup preserves the cake
for up to 12 weeks. There are no nuts in the
recipe but we are unable to guarantee nut free
as we have nuts in our bakery. The recipe
contains Wheat Flour and is suitable for
vegetarians. Each Parkin is baked into a tray
and placed in a bag which is tied by hand. The
weight is 400g.

Lottie Shaw's hampers are made to
order and once dressed, finished with a little
wooden tag of your choice. Tag choices are;
'Happy Birthday', 'Congratulations', 'Thank
You', 'Merry Christmas' and 'With Love'.
The hamper features Lottie's Seriously Good
Yorkshire Parkin, Lottie's Seriously Good Parkin
Pudding, Lottie's Seriously Good Caramel Sauce,
a packet of Lottie's Seriously Good Brandy Snaps
and Lottie's Seriously Good Yorkshire Parkin
Biscuits.
Hampers cost £35 including delivery. Allow 5
working days for delivery. Hampers are available
all year with Mince Pie's at Christmas. |
Serving the
Parkin pudding with Caramel Sauce is amazing.
The weight of the pack is 300g, I only do the
one size currently and the shelf life is 10
weeks from baking, if required you can freeze
this product for 6 months.
Although there are no nuts in the recipe we are
unable to guarantee nut free as we do have nuts
in our bakery and the recipe does contain Wheat
Flour. It is however suitable for vegetarians.

The Parkin Pudding
is Seriously Good when served with fresh cream
or ice cream, we bake the parkin in the foil and
then add the caramel sauce so all you have to do
is just place it in the oven and it takes
between 15 - 18 minutes to heat up.
Alternatively if you remove it from the foil
then you can microwave.
This is a Seriously Good pudding to accompany
any meal!
