Olive Branch is a company that makes and sells all
things Olive Oil. The company mission is to improve
peoples’ knowledge of good quality Olive Oil and the
benefits associated with its consumption. The Extra
Virgin Olive Oil has been carefully made at a community
co-operative in Crete, Greece and is a high quality
product that is low in acidity and rich in antioxidants.
Here are some facts about Olive Branch Extra Virgin
Olive Oil:
Low acidity: Olive Oil is graded in acidity level. 0.8%
acidity is the borderline to be an Extra Virgin Olive
Oil. Olive Branch Extra Virgin Olive Oil has <0.3%
acidity which is a very superior level and can only be
produced from Olives coming from the early harvest, from
Olives that have been hand selected and processed using
a superior technique
High in antioxidants: Olive Branch Olive Oil uses
the Koroneiki Olive, which is native to the
Mediterranean region and has one of the highest levels
of antioxidants from all Olive types. It is picked at
the stage just when the ripening begins as this is when
the natural antioxidants are at the highest level
Hand-picked and first cold pressed: Members of
the co-op where the Oil originates hand pick the Olives
themselves. It is them made into Oil using the cold
press technique. The produce from the first cold
extraction is used for Olive Branch Olive Oil, as this
first extraction has all the nutrients and goodness from
the Olive
